Pine degreasing modification technology

Pine is a coniferous tree with the largest accumulation, the widest distribution area and the largest area of planted forests in China. In the south, Pinus massoniana, Pinus elliottii, Pinus tabulaeformis and South Asian pine are the main species, while in the north, it is mainly larch, Pinus sylvestris, Pinus koraiensis and Pinus sylvestris. In the 15 provinces of the South, the accumulation of pine accounts for 50% of the total forest stock.

The pine tree species are tall trees with fast growth, straight trunks, clear and beautiful wood texture, light color, moderate hardness, and high strength and modulus of elasticity. These are the advantages of pine. However, due to the obvious growth stress of the material, the rosin content is high, and the wood contains more polysaccharide latex, so the material is relatively brittle, the adhesive property is very poor, the paint adhesion is low, easy to rise The foam is detached, and the wood is easy to warp and crack. After being damp, it is susceptible to fungal erosion and produces blue, white and decay. These are the Achilles heel of pine. Therefore, the use of pine is greatly limited and can only be applied to lower-level fields.

In today's world, the pursuit of natural materials, advocating the return to the basics, maintaining the ecological balance of consumer fashion is increasingly popular, solid wood-led ecological furniture, environmentally friendly decorative materials have been generally pursued by people, and quickly formed a hot spot in the home improvement consumer market. However, the strong contrast between the surge in demand in the home improvement market and the existing forest resources and ecological environment in China is confusing. Due to long-term deforestation, fewer and fewer natural forests are available for processing and producing solid wood furniture and decorative materials, and those precious home-made woods are almost exhausted. Therefore, the serious shortage of timber resources will be a difficult problem that restricts the sustainable development of China's national manufacturing industry. In other words, whether or not China's national manufacturing industry can achieve sustainable development depends to a large extent on how to rationally develop and scientifically apply existing forest resources, especially artificial fast-growing forest resources. Therefore, it is very meaningful to modify the pine tree species with wide distribution and large accumulation capacity to improve the material quality and wood performance to meet the requirements of the home improvement market.

Based on the existing pine degreasing technology at home and abroad, we have analyzed and compared the dewatering modification technology of atmospheric pine suitable for China's national conditions, and developed a "normal pressure pine degreasing agent", in May 1999. Applied for a national patent (Patent No. 6.).

The use of this degreasing agent, without the need for other mechanical equipment, can be operated with only 2 cement pools, and only 20 yuan for medicine per cubic meter of pine wood.

We selected four broadly representative species: the larch in the north, the masson pine in Hunan, and the southern pine in Hainan. These four kinds of pine wood are first made into 2~5cm thick plate square material, soaked for 5 hours per cubic meter of pine wood, and then heated to 95C with steam for 1~3h (controlled by wood thickness) Soaking time, 2~3cm to keep lh, 4~scm to keep 2h, 5cm or more for 3h), then drain the water in the pool (water can be recycled), take out the wood and send it to the drying kiln, dry according to the benchmark of pine The dried wood is taken out for use as an experimental material. At the same time, the degreased sheets are placed in a drying kiln and dried for comparison as experimental materials. The physical properties of the degreased pine and untreated pine were tested.

We have done several important physical performance experiments such as adhesive performance and paint adhesion. In addition to our own testing, some materials were sent to the National Artificial Board Quality Supervision and Inspection Center for testing. The test data are shown in Table 1.

It can be seen from the test data of Table 1:

1) The degreasing rate of pine is between 53.3% and 72.7%. The higher the fat content of pine, the better the degreasing effect.

(2) The adhesion of the paint after degreasing is increased by 3 to 5 times. The higher the lipid content, the greater the fold increase in paint adhesion. For the pine wood after degreasing, the adhesion of the paint has reached satisfactory requirements, while the untreated pine has poor adhesion to the paint.

(3) After the glued pine, its cold water immersion peeling force and shear strength, there is a clear difference between the treated and untreated pine. The treated pine has a shear strength of 81.6%~128%. . From the perspective of cold water immersion peeling, the treated pine wood did not crack. Except for larch, other untreated pines cannot be used as glulam and other adhesive materials.

(4) After treatment, the bending strength of the pine increased by 21.57% to 31.97%; the flexural modulus increased by 37.5 % to 78.8%; the string resistance increased by 11.4%. ~31.1%.

(5) After the treated plates were properly stacked in the room, they were wetted and dried for 5 times, and no cracking or warping was observed for 3 months. It can be seen from the above data that the performance of the degreased pine can meet the requirements of solid wood furniture, interior decoration, solid wood flooring, building doors and windows and various laminated materials, which will make pine Under the influence of the scientific concept, it has increased its value by injecting new cultural information and rich artistic connotations. It has created excellent conditions for its high-end solid wood furniture and high-end decorative materials industry. We are looking forward to the degreasing and modified pine wood, which will bring benefits and beauty to our people. We look forward to the furniture and decoration design masters and craftsmen who can explore and value the value of pine wood as a new one. level.
