9 POS terminal companies passed the on-line evaluation of UnionPay

On August 1, UnionPay logo product enterprise qualification certification office updated the list of compliant terminal enterprises of the "Guidelines for Lifecycle Safety and Quality Management of UnionPay Card Acceptance Terminal Products". As of the date of publication, the number of compliant terminal companies that passed on-site evaluation increased to nine. Terminal enterprises including Fujian Liandi Commercial Equipment Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Zhengtong Electronics Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen Zhengtong Jinxin Technology Co., Ltd.), Neusoft Group Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Xinguodu Payment Technology Co., Ltd. have passed on-site evaluation. .

In January of this year, China UnionPay issued the “Guidelines for Life Cycle Safety and Quality Management of UnionPay Card Acceptance Terminal Products”, which put forward management requirements for the design and production process of terminal products, and implemented them on the release date.

The Guide puts forward strict considerations from the aspects of enterprise qualification, information security management capability, independent research and development capability, service capability, product life cycle (security) management, configuration management, quality management, etc., such as:

● You should obtain the business license for the certified POS terminal products, the necessary office and production conditions, registered trademarks, and the required number of patents and software copyrights;

● Procedures should be established for safety and quality management of regions, personnel, assets (including keys), products, access rights, etc., and hierarchical management should be carried out throughout their life cycle;

● The configuration management process should be established throughout the company and the configuration management system should be used to ensure the consistency of the mass-produced POS terminal products and the certified prototypes;

● It should be equipped with the design, development, production, quality, technology, application support and after-sales service personnel necessary for the operation of certified POS terminal products;

●The production process control requires that the end product inspection rate of batch production must be ≥95%;

● The coverage rate of service providers in provincial capital cities and municipalities directly under the central government in the product sales area is not less than 70%.

The results of the on-site assessment are presented in a scoring manner. The first assessment must be over 80 points (percentage system). Otherwise, the UnionPay Certification Office will no longer accept the application for certification of the enterprise within one year. For details, see the Guide.
