Royal folder gluer suitable for processing medium-sized carton

In early 2003, Western Slope Industries, Inc. acquired the assets of U.S. International Carton Machinery Corporation (IPBM) and Multifold International's General Folding Carton Division. Therefore, WSI can now provide more types of folder-gluers. The Royal KJ-1100 is a new and improved model that is particularly suitable for processing medium-sized cartons. Like the earlier models, the Royal KJ-1100 is a versatile folder-gluer that is suitable for processing many types of jobs, both for short-lived and long-lived jobs. Straight boxes from a folding width of 90 mm to a deployment width of 1100 mm can be conveyed at a speed of 1200 ft/min (365 m/min) on this machine. The Royal KJ-1100 can also process self-locking bottom boxes and four- or six-corner boxes if it is equipped with the appropriate components.

The KJ-1100 continues the overall design and rugged structural features of the Royal Jigger's line. Some of the key features such as anti-corrosion components, precision-machined steel components, and an adjustable speed AC drive make the KJ-1100 a durable and low-maintenance folder-gluer. The standard features of this machine include:

● Electric non-timed feeding device, equipped with independent pneumatic tensioning belt assembly. Smooth coated cardboard can be equipped with some vacuum components.
• Lateral gauges, also commonly known as carton locators, are mounted behind feeders. The carton blank is accelerated to a very high speed after being fed out of the feeder and may be distorted or congested, which results in waste and unnecessary downtime. The side gauges eliminate paper skew and straighten the skewed carton blanks before the blanks enter the pre-fold. The side gauges can be mounted either on the left side of the machine or on the right side.
● The pre-fold section is fitted with three bottom brackets, an upper middle bracket, and a right upper bracket, where the width of all prefolding/folding belts is optional. A torsion bar was used to position the bracket, replacing the previously used chain and sprockets. The glue pot on the lower left is dedicated to straight boxes.
● Wide, left and right bottom brackets and a narrow center bracket are installed in the folds. Independent adjustable twin adjustable coaxial receiving modules (including automatic tensioning conveyors) allow space for optional discharge devices. Full-width belt driven ironing rollers replace the gear-to-roll used in previous models. The standard equipment portfolio also includes an electronic counter and pneumatic impact head.
• The KJ-1100's components, the US-D pressure unit, are capable of producing a top pressure of approximately 127 inches (3,220 mm) using a 28-inch (711 mm) wide top/bottom belt. The component is driven by its own adjustable speed AC drive, which in turn is controlled by the carton stacker control system. Different pneumatic conveyor belts can be selected to determine the degree of tension.

● A 50 hp main drive motor enables production speeds of up to 1200 ft/min (365 m/min) and, in exceptional cases, higher operating speeds. A set of operating consoles is installed outside the machine. And, the machine can also be equipped with a wireless remote console during installation.

In addition, the machine has many optional devices. The Speed-O-Matic includes a forward-folding component for machining self-locking bottom boxes. Parts for diagonal folding and forward folding are produced at specific designated points. These accessories and folding parts do not work when processing other types of trays. When processing square and hexagonal boxes, an electronic reverse folding system can be used. This additional device houses sub-brackets and dual servo-driven horizontal shafts, which are necessary for high-speed machining of the machine. The convex brushing device can be specified by the customer as a brand and then provided by the folder gluer manufacturer. Other options for the KJ-1100 include digital mechanical positioning indicators in the main carriage, small box-type fittings (the minimum width of the folding carton that can be machined is reduced to 50mm), Z-folding Accessories, forward folding accessories for envelopes and pocket-folding products, accessories for producing double-walled corrugated boxes, and reverse-folding accessories for fries boxes. For some special applications, such as high-speed labeling, online windowing, surface grinding and hemming, and flame sealing, we can meet the needs of customers by constantly updating and improving machines and installing various types of accessories.

In addition to U.S. International Carton Machinery's universal folding carton business, WSI also acquired Multifold International, a leading manufacturer of carton handling machinery. This has expanded the variety of WSI's carton blanks that can be processed; and the addition of the KJ-1100 gluing machine has also expanded the company's packaging facilities and improved the company's plan to provide a complete automated gluing process line.

Badger Shaving Brush

Best badger are brushes made with the finer and more pliable hairs from 20 - 25% of the badger's body. It is longer in length and lighter in color than 'pure' badger hair. A 'best' badger brush is more densely filled with hair than the 'pure' badger brush and will produce a correspondingly greater lather. However, some wet shavers argue that the variance between the quality of a 'pure' and a 'best' badger brush is negligible. Best badger and better quality brush hairs are often fit so that the ends do not have to be cut to shape.Pure badger are badger hair brushes that use the most common hair from the underbelly of a badger, the hair which covers around 60% of a badger's body. This hair varies greatly in softness, pliability and color. Pure badger hair is usually dark in color, but fluctuates from a light tan to a near-black or silvery sheen. The hair is coarser than 'best' or 'silvertip' hair due to its larger shaft. Brushes made exclusively with pure badger hair cost significantly less than finer badger hair. Most often, pure badger brush hairs are trimmed to shape, resulting in somewhat stiff, rough ends.

A shave brush's price is usually determined more by its bristle load than any other factor, except for brushes with very exotic handles. The most expensive brushes often use exotic materials in the handle. The bristles are fixed together into a knot that is installed into the handle. The best quality brushes are hand knotted. Badger and boar brushes are the most commonly found animals used for Shaving Brush fibers. Badger species include the Eurasian badger and the hog badger
