The chemical bonds of polymer materials have different sensitivities to different wavelengths of light in sunlight, and generally correspond to a threshold. The short-wavelength ultraviolet rays of sunlight are the main cause of the aging of most polymers.
3, high temperature
The higher the temperature, the faster the chemical reaction. The aging reaction is a photochemical reaction, and the temperature does not affect the photoreaction rate in the photochemical reaction, but affects the subsequent chemical reaction rate. Therefore, the effect of temperature on material aging is often non-linear.
4, wet
Water will directly participate in the aging reaction of the material. Dew, rain and humidity are some of the main manifestations of water in natural conditions. Studies have shown that outdoor materials are wet for long periods of time each day (an average of 8-12 hours per day). Dew is the main cause of outdoor humidity. Dew poses a greater hazard than rain because it adheres to the material for a longer period of time, creating a more severe moisture attack.
