In the first batch of 20 industrial tourism demonstration bases jointly announced by Shandong Provincial Economic and Information Committee, Shandong Tourism Commission and Shandong Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, Asia Pacific Sembo (Shandong) Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. is the only selected unit in Rizhao City. The only pulp and paper enterprise selected in Shandong Province.
It is understood that in order to cultivate industrial tourism in Shandong Province into a new field of tourism development, promote the priority development of industrial tourism in key cities, key parks and key enterprises, accelerate development, and create a number of industrial tourism cities and routes that have important influence throughout the country. According to the principle of strong resource attraction, high market recognition, good reception service and safe and orderly operation, the provincial government has named 20 units as the first batch of industrial tourism demonstration bases in Shandong Province.
In order to better understand the pulp and paper process and understand the environmental protection, clean production and recycling economy of the pulp and paper industry, Asia Pacific Sinbo has planned to build an industrial tourism project since the beginning of 2010. The project has a high starting point and high standards. Responsibilities and other situations are vividly displayed.
Asia-Pacific Semper insisted on open visits and became a practical base for students to understand the four major inventions of papermaking and environmental protection, circular economy and clean production in ancient China. Each year, hundreds of batches and tens of thousands of people from all walks of life were visited. The project has developed into a relatively mature industrial tourism project.
