Stand-up pouches are the form of packaging commonly used for sucking frozen products. The haze resistance of such packages is an important factor affecting the quality of the packaged products. In this paper, the Labthink FDT-02揉搓 tester was used to test the aluminum-plastic composite film used for the self-standing bag, and the results of the test were evaluated by the turpentine method. The test process, equipment principle and parameters were used. The description of the scope of application can provide a reference for enterprises to monitor the tamper resistance of soft plastic packaging materials.

1, meaning

As a name suggests, stand-up pouch is a kind of packaging bag that can stand without any support and whether it can be opened or not. This kind of packaging has the advantages of improving product grade, enhancing visual effect, carrying light, convenient use, fresh keeping and good sealing performance. And many other advantages, has been used in the packaging of a variety of liquid, colloidal, semi-solid products such as jelly, edible oil, jam, beverage, laundry liquid. At present, the common stand-up pouches are mainly five types of ordinary stand-up pouches, self-standing pouches with suction nozzles, self-standing pouches with zippers, self-standing pouches, and self-supporting pouches. The materials used are mainly aluminum-plastic composite film.

The self-supporting bag made of aluminum-plastic composite film has high stiffness and good barrier property. However, due to the poor resistance of the aluminum foil layer, the aluminum foil layer is easily broken and pinholes are formed under the action of external force distortion and folding. For the aluminum-plastic composite film, the barrier function is mainly aluminum foil layer. If pinholes appear in the aluminum foil layer, the barrier property of the whole material will decrease, the product will deteriorate, and even pinholes will be formed throughout the material to make the package. The barrier is lost and the product leaks. Therefore, by strengthening the detection of the smash resistance of the aluminum-plastic composite film, it is possible to effectively prevent the self-standing bag made of the needle-hole at the crease of the bottom of the bag or other parts of the bag.

2, test basis

At present, there is no domestic standard for the relevant performance of soft plastic packaging. The test process is based on the American standard ASTM F392.

3, test samples

The test sample used in this test is an aluminum-plastic composite film used for sucking the frozen stand-up pouch.

4, test equipment

The test equipment used in this paper is the FDT-02揉搓 tester independently developed by Jinan Languang Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd.

4.1 Principle of the test

This equipment is designed to simulate the soft and plastic packaging material samples during the use of the sputum effect, the horizontal and vertical direction of the sample is carried out, the strength of the 揉搓 can be determined by selecting different 揉搓 mode (the number of times 揉搓). There are two main methods for evaluating the tamper resistance of the sample. One is to determine the barrier properties of the sample before and after the ruthenium. The sample with good tamper resistance has little change in the barrier properties before and after the ruthenium, and the sample with poor stagnation resistance, 揉搓The latter barrier property is much lower than that of the sputum; the other is to analyze the sputum sample by the turpentine method. If there is a pinhole penetrating the whole sample, turpentine spots will be formed on the white paper, and the number of spots will be The size of the comparison gives the sample resistance to enthalpy.

4.2 Equipment parameters

揉搓 Frequency: 45 times / minute.

揉搓 angle: 440° or 400°.

Horizontal stroke: 155 mm or 80 mm.

Number of samples: Four identical or different samples can be tested simultaneously in one test.

揉搓 mode: A, B, C, D, E five 揉搓 modes are available.

4.3 Scope of application

(1) Film type: It is suitable for testing the anti-cracking performance of plastic film, sheet and composite film, such as various composite film for packaging, aluminized film, aluminum-plastic composite film, nylon film, coating film and the like.

(2) Paper: Suitable for the anti-caries performance test of paper materials.

(3) Standard: Meets ASTM F392.

5, the test process

(1) Three rectangular specimens of 200 mm × 280 mm were cut from the surface of the aluminum-plastic composite film sample for the stand-up pouch.

(2) Three samples were wrapped on the three pairs of rotating shafts of the helium tester, and the samples were fixed with a fixing clip.

(3) Select the appropriate 揉搓 mode. This test uses C mode.

(4) Start the test and after the set number of turns is reached, the device will automatically stop and remove 3 samples.

(5) Cut one sample of 150 mm × 200 mm from each of the three specimens.

(6) Take a piece of white paper and lay it on the test board, then place one of the 150 mm × 200 mm samples on white paper, and apply the prepared turpentine repeatedly on the surface of the sample and let it stand for 1 minute. After that, take the sample and observe the presence or absence of red spots and spots on the white paper.

(7) Repeat (6) until all three samples have been tested.

6, test results

More than 4 spots of different diameters ranging from 3 mm to 5 mm appeared on all three white papers. This indicates that penetrating pinholes appeared on the surface of the sample under the action of C mode, which was tested in this test. The sample is less resistant to tampering.

7. Conclusion

The tamper resistance of the aluminum-plastic composite film used in the production of the stand-up pouch is an extremely important performance index. The value of this index determines the barrier property of the self-supporting pouch after being subjected to external force during use. In this test, the FDT-02揉搓 tester was used to test the sample in the C mode. The pinholes formed on the surface of the sample were verified by the turpentine method. The test procedure was simple, the equipment was easy to operate, and the test results were easy to count.
