PHB antimicrobial plastic

British researchers have successfully developed new packaging materials that can be widely used in the food packaging industry, PHB antimicrobial plastics. By using bacteria culture technology, a kind of bacteria is first cultivated with sugar and then made into a polypropylene-like material through special processing technology. The product is non-toxic, biodegradable and does not pollute the environment.
