LANXESS Introduces Inorganic Pigments for Plastic Coloring

LANXESS Shanghai Pigments Co., Ltd. recently introduced inorganic pigments for plastic coloring. The main products include Colortherm, Bayferrox, Chrome OxideGreen, Bayplast and Macrolex.

According to reports, Colortherm series of anti-ultraviolet, weather-resistant inorganic colored pigments, can effectively color wood-plastic composite materials, easily handled iron oxide and chromium oxide pigments can be uniformly dispersed into the material, and according to the product conditions can tolerate 300 °C High temperature without discoloration, especially suitable for the extrusion process of composite materials to make decorative parts of molded products. Macrolex colorants can be used to color various products with stringent purity requirements, such as PET bottles and other food packaging and coloring of children's toys, and have passed US Food and Drug Administration certification. Macrolex series has a variety of forms, including micro-particles. The hollow spheres are easily compressed and can be quickly, uniformly, completely dispersed and incorporated into the plastic matrix.
