Anti-dropping agent masterbatch for Ampacet packaging film

Ampacet Corporation has developed Am-pacet 102163- U, a new anti-mist dripping masterbatch that is suitable for packaging all kinds of polyethylene films for fresh products, refrigerator foods, and hot ready-to-eat meats. The masterbatch has been approved by the United States, the European Union, and Japan for use in products that are in direct contact with food. The general dosage is 5% to 7%.

The low temperature (4 °C) droplet test results using a 102163- U, 0.254 mm thick LLDPE blown film (containing 0.5% anti-fog drops) were: The film remained completely transparent for up to 50 d. The result of the fog drop test after the temperature rise was also the same. The film containing the new masterbatch remained transparent, while the film containing the other two antifogging drops formed water droplets in less than 1 h.
