The Oriental Star Packaging Design Competition made its debut in the flourishing development of the design industry. I was honored to be one of the five judges and seriously selected over 800 works for this competition. Gold, silver, bronze and finalists.
"Look at the design" and "design than design" are two things we often do.
I have watched countless designs and watched in Shanghai; looked at the country; also visited many countries. Usually shopping malls, those beautifully designed goods stop me from time to time, attracting my attention, today's Shanghai has become the world's commodity fair, to see the design is really a pleasure. Of course, at home, I also look at the design. Through television, there are various design books on the shelves. Excellent works are never lost. Every time I look at them, I have different results. When I'm in a good mood, I have fun with leisure. I sip tea and listen to music while looking out at the lush trees outside the window while reading wonderful designs.
The process of looking at design is also a process of learning. To see the deep layers behind the design, to see the concept of design, the culture of design; to see its background, and then look at the materials, structures, and processing techniques it uses. The style and feeling it pursues. Sometimes we need to compare and see why this design is different from the design of the design. In fact, the design is not to look at other people's designs, or to give others a look at their own designs. If you design something that does not reach the line of sight of the consumer, you cannot focus on the customer and your design will disappear. Therefore, when designing, it must be very clear to whom this product design is done. Only if your target consumer is very interested in seeing you, can you buy your product.
We often design products. Every design is to participate in competitions. Shops, supermarkets, and hypermarkets are the competition venues and gladiators of merchandise. Similar merchandise is displayed on a shelf. The first is the design, and the second is the brand, quality, and quality. Than the price, consumers buy your goods is to vote for you, consumers are fans and sponsors.
Designers are also better than the design, that is, the comparison of the customer's project, than the creativity, than the concept, than the system, the United States, but also than the communication and the ability to promote the speech, design is a process.
The Oriental Star Packaging Design Contest is a contest based on design standards, not just about beauty, but more important than innovation, whether the packaging meets the needs, whether the design creates economic value for the company, and whether the design is environmentally friendly.
I have participated in a variety of design competitions and received various awards. In 1995 I was awarded the "Star of the World" packaging design award, which is the highest level of packaging design awards. Compared to the design than a sense of accomplishment and honor.
The Oriental Star Packaging Design Competition will continue to be a competition brand for the packaging design community. I look forward to more and better works coming out, and at the same time, let more works become goods and supplies.
