Therefore, for a cylinder of the same size, the suction of the double-acting compressor is larger than that of a single action. However, due to the complicated structure of the double-acting compressor, most of them are currently single-acting compressors.

3. According to the classification of refrigerant vapor in the cylinder, there are direct current and counter current. The so-called direct current means that the movement of the refrigerant vapor proceeds from the inhalation to the exhaust in the same direction, while the countercurrent type, the direction of movement of the refrigerant vapor is opposite when inhaling and exhausting. From the theoretical analysis, compared with the countercurrent type, the direct current performance is better because the steam has less change in temperature and specific volume in the cylinder. However, since the inlet valve of the direct-flow compressor needs to be mounted on the piston, the length and weight of the piston are relatively increased, so that the consumption of work is increased and the maintenance is troublesome. Therefore, most of the compressors currently produced are countercurrent.

4. According to the position of the center line of the cylinder, there are vertical compressors, horizontal compressors, V-type, W-type and S-type compressors. The vertical compressor cylinder centerline is in a vertical position and the horizontal compressor cylinder centerline is horizontal. V-type, W-type and S-type are high-speed, multi-cylinder, modern compressors, the speed is generally 960 ~ 1440 rev / min, the number of cylinders are mostly 2, 4, 6, 8 four, of which the letters represent the cylinder Arranged.
