Regan Baker Design is designed to pay tribute to home architecture while creating a comfortable, welcoming, modern home that is tailored to the individual lifestyle of the client. They created a space that blends traditional architecture with historical and beautiful details with the client's contemporary, eclectic and tribal style, including unique art and collectibles from Africa.

This busy family of five moved from New York because he had three active children and was a big family. The last renovation of the house was in the 1950s with a living room, located between the kitchen and the dining room, and both were closed. Nowadays, the main living space is opened, you can take care of the children at any time, and you can also enjoy the outdoor scenery at any time, creating a warm space by bringing outdoor activities.

Indoor focus is a priority, such as kitchen design because of its prominent position in space. Taking into account the number and size of the windows, the location of the home, and the view of the ocean and the Golden Gate Bridge, the designer chose to landscape the landscape as a work of art and contrast it with a contrasting dark color. This sets the tone for the rest of the family. Custom teak and walnut dressers also bring warmth to the home, while also helping to transform the traditional details of the home into the modern and ethnic aesthetics of the client.

The designer's design philosophy also includes empathy and purpose. Resonating with the customer's lifestyle helps designers organize and define space needs, think and allocate space and accommodate solutions to achieve a more structured and practical home. At the entrance, the design adds a “walk-in closet” with shoes, strollers, jackets, gloves and shopping bags for easy access. In the kitchen, a walk-in kitchen is created for dry goods and one-off entertainment, while the lower cabinet drawers are optimized for bowls, plates and everyday items. The built-in buffet/porcelain cabinet provides drinks and linen storage. In addition, in order to adapt to the different working hours of the couple, the main bathroom is separated from the bedroom, and an entrance/exit is added through the main wardrobe, so that one can get out of bed without waking up another.
