How Paper Feeder Works in Printing Engineering

It is known that the sheet feeding mechanism of the sheet-fed printing press is an important auxiliary machinery in the offset printing press. Its main component, the separating head, sucks the paper from the stack by means of a series of suction nozzles and blowing nozzles. , separation, transfer to the printing department. However, some people may not necessarily know that the paper feeder is also widely used in screen printing machines, gravure printing machines, automatic die cutting machines, paper sheet printing machines and other sheet-fed printing machinery and equipment.

According to different requirements, the feeder can be divided into the following two types according to the requirements of precision and speed:

Intermittent paper feeder: After the separation head has sent a piece of paper to the printing section, it sends a second sheet of paper, which in turn circulates back and forth, mainly for low-speed printing machinery.

Chuanliu Paper Feeder: Separator continuously feeds paper, and the paper is lapped on the paperboard to achieve rapid paper feeding. It is mainly used for high-speed printing machinery and is currently mainly used for sheet-fed multicolor printing machines.

The principle of movement in printing engineering is:

1) Divide the paper nozzle downwards, suck the top sheet of paper, lift it upwards and tilt it upwards to prevent it from picking up double sheets and facilitate the insertion of the paper blowing nozzle.

2) Insert the paper blowing nozzle, press the lower paper and open the air blowing air to separate the suctioned paper from the underlying paper and detect the paper stack height.

3) The delivery nozzle sucks the paper to move to the right. At this time, the separation nozzle and the delivery nozzle simultaneously control the paper and transfer the paper, that is, the separation nozzle is delivered to the delivery nozzle.

4) The paper suction nozzle cuts off the paper in the air path, completes the paper transfer, and then rises. At this time, the paper blowing nozzle stops blowing and leaves the paper stack, and the paper feeding nozzle moves left to output the paper. In order to ensure the correct transfer and transport of paper, the delivery nozzle should achieve a certain trajectory (controlled by the cam).

5) With the continuous output of paper, the paper pile monitoring system of the paper feeder can increase the height of the paper stack at any time to ensure continuous paper feeding.

At present, there is no separate power source for the paper feeders, and the motion comes from the printer's main drive chain to ensure the coordination of operations. The printers independently driven by the paper feeders have been manufactured abroad. Servomotors and drive systems are used to track the running speed of mainframes, eliminating the need for a batch of parts such as universal joints, and greatly increasing the digital level of paper feeding.
